Ryanair 10kg carry on luggage and checking in

Flying to Prague for a long weekend--I paid extra for the 10kg carry on luggage plus a small bag for both of us, on both flights. (No need for hold luggage as we're only going for 3 nights). Do you carry both the bags to the gate?

Also, I've checked in online for the outgoing flight and printed the boarding passes as it costs 55 euros each to check in at the airport 🙄 BUT, I can't check in for the return flight until 48 hours before the flight. We won't have a printer to print the boarding passes in our hotel room. So, I can print them now at home and check in but only if I pay £18 extra for allocated seats. I didn't reserve seats on the outgoing flight and we're nearly sitting together anyway for that flight. No children involved.

So, my question is, are these the only 2 options for the return flight:

A) pay £18 now for allocated seats, print boarding passes at home, check in online now

B) check in at Prague Airport and pay 55 euros each

I haven't flown Ryanair before and am confused!

Oh and just go straight through security on arrival at airport . The app is really easy to use. Enjoy your trip op

I hope it goes OK and more importantly, if you fly again, it is with another airline. If you believe that employees and also horses should be treated with love and care, don't fly with Ryanair. Michael O'Leary is a bully and his horses take part in the worst horserace of all, the Grand National.

I use the app, works perfectly. You can share your boarding pass if you are travelling with someone else in case you get separated.

The thing to be aware of is that boarding pass you get on the website must be printed off. It's only the ones through the app that you can use on your phone.

You can often swap seats so you end up sitting with your travelling companion, lots of people do it.

Ryanair are fine as long as you stick by their rules.
