Baby number 2 due soon and parents want to buy us something for baby that would be useful.

Only we have everything from first time.

What did your parents give you when your second born came?

Oh yes and, like a PP, the most important thing DM gave us was childcare! We were only in the hospital for 1 night with DS (3 for DD), but I could relax knowing she was with someone I could trust and DD was happy with, and that she'd get DD to preschool, knew her routine, etc.

Nothing much as my dad bought my nursery furniture.
Do you need a second car seat?

My mum made several clothes orders in the run up and my dad transferred me money.

we got money for each child due to our cultural traditions. Are you able to say you'd prefer vouchers or money to put towwards essentials such as nappies?

In-laws bought a new bed for DC1 so that the cot was freed up.

My parents got vests/babygro etc as we'd got rid of some and also new towels etc

Clothes I think so she didn’t have to wear all her sisters hand me downs .

My mum will be knitting us some cardigans etc for the new baby. I love having handmade stuff and it means so much. We have all the practical stuff already but I wouldn’t expect them to buy me anything anyway x
