I think I'm in trouble (lighthearted)

I was doing some editing on a book that will never ever be finished to my satisfaction. As part of the editing, I decided that, rather than just saying "a language they didn't understand" I needed to write a few sentences in that language.
Because I didn't want to potentially write something in another language that's going to offend someone, I was using Google translate's detect language function. Normally, it translates a couple of words and says what language it found.
This time I put a sentence in and it didn't translate a single word, but decided it was Norwegian.
Did I break Google Translate? Should I be worried?

Obviously the sentence was sexual in nature and Google translate had come over all prudish like a maiden aunt Smile

That explains why my Norwegian friend laughed, said "no it's not" and very quickly changed the subject when I asked them if it was Norwegian. They wanted to spare my blushes.

LOL! Now I really need to know what the sentence was. I speak Norwegian ;)

@Damntheman The sentence was "Net vai gir ma biren."

Ooh google didn't like that for me either. Someone translate please!

I typed it in just the search box, not translate, and it came up with something about - a girl on the net sex video - ???

@LochJessMonster in the book it simply means "we don't need to hunt."
There's a backstory in that, the character the sentence is said to, was spoken to in the same language a couple of days previously. The initial intention was good, but it turns out speaking a long dead language to random people has unintended consequences.
