Party invitations - seen any 'grown up' train ones?

DS will be 6 in a few months and having a whole class party. He has HFA but is doing really well socially at school and is well-liked. We're doing a party with a really good entertainer so no worried there.

DS is desperate for the party invitations / tableware etc to be train-themed (he loves trains with a deep and abiding passion) but I can only find very toddler-ish train invitations. Have you seen any more appropriate for a 6yo? DS has no concept of things being babyish, but his classmates obviously will. If I could find decent invitations, I'd be able do tableware/balloons etc in corresponding colours but not necessarily train-themed, if that makes sense.

He is 6. Surely train ones arnt babyish.

Or you could do your own

I always used to print my own party invitations.

A “grown up train” sounds like a euphemism to me!

Seriously, at 6 you can send “babyish” invitations with no worries at all. I’m a primary teacher and I’ve seen that happen a lot. You’re probably overthinking this.

Just make your own op, that way you can get them just how you want them. At 6 it's still ok to like trains! (DH is 36 and the train love is only increasing!)

What about a ticket or these

These were on eBay and looked good.

I think that as long as you avoid Thomas you'll be fine tbh. My kids preferred cars and motorcycles at that age but trains and planes are also fine imo. If you're not confident to make your own and he has a favourite train (say the London Tube) you could probably ask one of the eBay invitation makers if they'd print them out for you

There's a train in Harry Potter )the Hogwarts Express) That might be the easiest train partywear to look out for?

I like the idea of making them look like train tickets! Something like this? www.amazon.co.uk/Steam-Train-Ticket-Party-Invitations/dp/B0764BSQ75
