Does anyone shop online at Iceland?

I've never shopped with Iceland. Today I've heard lots on the radio about the positives of buying frozen food, and I think it would work for me especially in terms of vegetables and fruit- so I'm wondering about placing an online order with them.

Can anyone tell me about their experience of online shopping with Iceland and buying more frozen food please.

Yes I found them very efficient, no problems. I still need to investigate more as I just bought basics!

I have done (I probably wouldn't but there was a deal on top cashback) and it was good for price and delivery. I have a chronic illness and sometimes fatigue can get in the way of 'proper' cooking, but their frozen pre-prepped/chopped veg is great and means I'm more likely to cook than microwave!

We do a regular shop there for frozen veg and their great vegan burgers etc range.

Good value and no hassle apart from they’re always very very late. It’s a two hour slot and they’re usually 45 minutes later than the end of that.

I've never bought much in the way of frozen fruit or vegetables before other than peas. I think I'm behind the times!

I’ve had good experiences with their delivery, it can be good for things like toilet paper and washing powder too, they often have good deals. Some of their stuff is excellent, some not so much - like anywhere I guess.

My husband ordered an online shop from them the other week. Lots of frozen meals (eg Slimming World type). They were within the time slot and everything was correct, so no complaints.

We filled our freezer with Iceland, their driver was pleasant and on time and all food was fine!

Only thing I would say is that when I was paying, it kept saying my payment had been declined and it took the amount multiple times so I ended up paying about £400 for my shopping. I spoke to their customer service though and they sorted it immediately for me!

I'm a big fan. So much so I now have more than one freezer. 😂

I love the big bags of veg, my kids always have at least 3 veg on the their dinner and it's just so easy. I don't care for the frozen mince, but the joints, chops, fish and chicken are brilliant and so convenient when they cook from frozen. Easy dinners, perfect for weeknights.

We use the frozen fruit for smoothies and adding to deserts. It does go a bit mushy when defrosted.

Cheese is as good as any.
Deli meats and fresh meats are nice.

I don't like their selection of yoghurts and go elsewhere for that. The tins and jars are silly prices too, better off in b&m / Homebargains.

Oh, and the deliveries are always on time. We had an issue once in 3 years of using them and they couldn't have been more helpful.

I fill my freezer up pre Christmas with Iceland.

Always on time, friendly driver, still use bags (so you don't have to put it in bags at your end... At least they do here).

Mine seem very keen to drop and go too, not the awkward hanging around that tesco do. They don't carry it inside and drop it at your door.

Make sure you have the cash ready as they put a pre authorisation on the full amount when you order, it's not like the others where they just put a pound in preauthorisation and take the payment when they deliver. They preauthorise the full amount and take it on the day they deliver.

They keep you fully informed too with arrival times and I like their invoice/reciept. (by that I mean the layout so I can mark things off when checking)

Only once had a issue with dates in a couple of items but it was 20th Dec

They tend to be the best in terms of delivery and having next day slots if I need to order stuff last minute. They have a really good range but I tend to stock up on Greggs stuff 😳, it’s no different from stuff they sell in the bakery shops.
