Just that really, I don't know anything about them.
Are they reliable?

Anyone?

My daughter uses modibodi period pants and has never had any issues.

I noticed that Sainsburys have started selling period pants as well but I've no experience of them.

My concern is that 12yos grow so much- period pants are a pretty expensive outlay for them to then grow out of them six months later!

Thank you, she isn’t getting on with towels and I think period pants might be a better option. I’m not too worried about cost if it’s going to make her comfortable.

How about washable pads? My teen likes them and avoids the ‘growing out of’ issue. We have Cheeky Wipes ones.

How do you mean she's not getting on with towels?

Likethebattle · 27/01/2020 21:26

@bsc once you start puberty you stop growing so fast. I’ve been 5’9’’ since I was 11 so it might not be a problem.

The Cheeky Wipes pants are great and not as expensive as others. www.cheekywipes.com/period-pants-uk/feeling-sporty-low-rise-period-pants-with-4-layer-absorbency.html

My Dd has tried modibody pants, cheeky wipes period pants and cheeky wipes washable pads. Likes modibody pants best. What I will say though is wash them quickly, Dd has a habit of putting them to soak in a special tub then forgetting about them, so when I spot them a few days later and wash them it's impossible to get the stale blood smell out, not great when they cost so much.

Thank you
@TheresWaldo she finds them really uncomfortable and forgets to change them/changes them to often, She constantly complains about them being in her knickers her whole period.
We have tried different ones but nothing seems to work.
For full disclosure, though maybe not relevant, she has dyspraxia and some slight sensory issues.
