Low sugar snacks

I'm really worried that I'm leading myself to diabetes, I eat an insane amount of sugar and I can't stop. I am a serious addict.
I was constantly tired and it made me extremely grumpy. I joined a gym/ swimming pool this year and although only a few weeks in, I've been going pretty much whenever I get a chance (average 3 times a week, 4 times this week) it is helping the fatigue and I'm enjoying the exercise but I really need to stop the sugar eating. I know people will say 'go cold turkey' but i am seriously addicted. It'll save me money and I know if I continue that it will lead to horrible health problems.
I guess I could do 3 meals a day but I think for the time being I need something to keep me going in the afternoon, especially with the gym.
So give me all your on the go snacks that I can keep in my bag or grab in a hurry please. Thank you!

Sugar snap peas dipped in houmous
Apple cut into wedges and sprinkled with cinnamon then dipped in a thick yogurt like total - the cinnamon is actually really sweet
Individual packs of salted popcorn
Itsu miso soup sachets
Cubed cheddar and croutons

You’ve asked for low sugar snack ideas, have you tried fibre one products. They are gorgeous-www.fibreone.co.uk/

Plus I have the peanut butter popcorn and pretzel bars from Aldi! Love them!

There was a programme on BBC1 last night - which looked at snacking (called something like how to live well - it had Hugh F-W presenting it)
and they recommended having something that smells or tastes of peppermint to curb desire for snacks - sopeppermint tea, or sniff some peppermint oil (because it is a strong smell it somehow overrides desire for other tastes I think)
Anyway - I always carry pack of sugar free gum in my bag and often find just chewing that will take my mind off wanting something sugary.

I also generally have an apple and a satsuma in my bag for emergencies !

Pots of sugar free jelly.
Cheese.
Chicken drumstick/thigh.
Salami.
Cup of Bovril.

I'm exactly the same. I find protein helps massively to curb the cravings. I like dark chocolate rice cakes for a chocolate hit.

Some great suggestions that had completely slipped my mind, thank you!

Also thank you to kurri for recommending the show! I started watching it late last night so will finish it later, but it is interesting so far.
I've just had some weetabix and am going to try my hardest to plough through until lunchtime, I don't know why I've got in to such bad habits but I really don't need a morning snack!

I cut out sugary snacks last july and have lost a stone in weight!

I try not to snack at all, but find the days I go for a run I really need something.

I usually go for peanut butter on toast, or a banana. Sometimes I get those nakd bars if they're on offer.

Yesterday's discovery - samosas. The m&s ones are lush and only 130 calories.

Cupasoups also get me through a tough morning!
