Centre parcs Longleat vs bluestone wales?

Does anyone have any experience of either of these?

Which do you prefer and why?

Depends on ages of the children. I’d say under 6s then Bluestone, over 6s center parcs.
There’s lots more activities geared towards younger children at bluestone, soft play, indoor play area, circus area, they have the new all weather dome, there’s kids outdoor play areas, nice swimming pool. Activities are a lot cheaper than center parcs.
Over 6s at centre parcs have the activities such as high ropes, holding the owls, more adventurous swimming pool but I think mine are too young at 5 and 3 to appreciate that stuff. Plus they are under the age limit there for lots of activities.

Pala- thanks for that all taken on board.

I would say the opposite about bluestone! I went with kids aged 5 and there loads and loads of great activities that they had to be 7
Or 10 I think it was to do

Posted too soon. My dc will turn 8 soon so I suppose it needs to be centre Parcs.

Look at bluestones website, it lists all the activities and age restrictions

Not been to Longleat cp but been to 2 other CPs and bluestone too. I preferred bluestone overall BUT it seemed to be more geared up to be used as a base whereas CP people stay on site the whole time. When were in bluestone the weather was fabulous and local beaches/tenbigh/a local theme park were all great. In winter CP might win. There didn't seem to be nearly as many organised activities at BS and pool wasn't as good (but enormously less busy).

We’ve been to both and prefer Center Parcs.

I wasn’t keen on all the golf buggies driving around at bluestone. We had one ourselves though as everything seemed spread out. Whereas at Center Parcs we pay a little extra to stay centrally and don’t have far to walk for things like swimming and eating out, which we do daily.

We thought the swimming area was much better at Center Parcs.

And the restaurants; the Center Parcs ones all have little soft play areas which makes them seem very child friendly, whereas there was nothing like that at bluestone when we went.

There are lots of activities for all ages at Center Parcs - we’ve been since ours were 2 and 4.

We haven’t been to bluestone since the new all weather dome was built though.
