Hi! As the title says, my back is in spasm and seems to be getting worse. I'm worried I'm heading for a situation where I get totally "stuck"
I'm on an ice/exercise/heat cycle and have taken Naproxen and paracetamol.
I live alone, have two cats who need things doing for them. My dc are away until Wednesday. I also need to get back to work ASAP.
Any tips for making the spasm better quickly and also any tips for things like emptying litter trays when you can't bend. Anything appreciated, thanks!

Was going to say head/ice etc. My chiropractor tells me to ice every 2 hrs, day and night for the day. It does help. Highly recommend finding a good chiropractor, mine is literally god!

My GP gave me diazepam (about 8 tablets) with dire warning that they were only to be used in case of total spasm.

Buscopan can ease them as it’s an anti spasmodic.

Thanks, yes I'm asking local friends for recommendations now.

Yes to the chiropractor. A good one can really improve things.

Buscopan can ease them as it’s an anti spasmodic.

Can it? I thought it only worked on stomach cramps. I have some of that handy so am going to give it a try. Thanks!

I was told it can help with mild spasms by a GP. She said even if it doesn’t help it won’t hinder.
