Book or film you couldn’t stop thinking about

I finished the book “I’m Thinking Of Ending It” last night and I can’t stop thinking about the end. It wasn’t scary as such but so unsettling.
I read about a film (never been brave enough to watch it which makes this even more embarrassing) but the image that accompanied the article has haunted me ever since.

Also, "Dreams of a Life" documentary on Netflix. It was just so sad.

“The changeling” with Angelina Jolie and Steve Buscheme (not sure how to spell it!). The scene where it showed him chasing and murdering the boys with really disturbed me. I must have been about 19 and the horror of it has stayed with me. It’s definitely not the most harrowing film I’ve ever seen but for some reason it truly chilled me to the bone.

People of the Lie by M. Scott Peck - yes to that Apileofballyhoo

A self help book that explores the definition of evil and links to Narcissism.

Film - The Notebook. In a feelgood way.

Inkanta it's a very scary book.

Yes to Mysterious Skin, makes me want to cry when I think about it.

TV wise, The Wire for me is a show that will stay with me forever, it's a masterpiece. I rewatch it periodically and feel and notice different things every time. The moments that stayed with me though were Wallace and D'Angelo's deaths- they were a bit of goodness in such bleak surroundings and it felt so unfair. Also most of season 4 I find difficult to watch, it's just so sad.
