Hi everyone , I’m really needing help , my 15mth2week little boy has seem to have a habit of getting his legs stuck in the cot bars and when I mean stuck he screams the house down in pain! I don’t NOT think he’s ready for bars off at the moment he’s Literally everywhere he gets into everything I just cannot imagine him been in the bedroom alone even if I have baby gates he’s not a very good sleep either he literally goes to sleep at 7 and wakes up around 9 and is up till 12am! I cannot imagine him running around the room at that time all my children have bedtimes and he does not go to sleep for ages either! I’m stuck in a rut as I do not like bumpers I have anxiety and I worry about everything! Any suggestions? Thankyou!

Aww brill I don’t think that would be ok for my son as he doesn’t stay in his own quilt he literally rolls all over the place

Those mesh bumpers Velcro on. They are not a strangulation or suffocation risk as far as I'm aware.

I would have been too nervous to use them for a tiny baby less than 7/8 months, but by 15 months I wouldn't be worried.

I definitely wouldn't use traditional bumpers as the risks are always there no matter the age.

The mesh ones I have are Velcro on and definitely breathable. My son could rip them all off I guess but he never has. If he did he could sort of wrap them around himself like a blanket, but he'd be hard pressed to do more than that. And actually taking them off takes time and is not that straightforward.

If from 12 months they can have a pillow and duvet, then I'd suggest they would be safe.
