I'm very convinced if you look at someone's page you appear on their suggested friends....
Someone new at work (no mutual friends) appeared on my (and others) suggested friends list within a few days of working with us, so clearly having a nosey at our profiles.

Sorry, I’m not convinced. There is no way this person can show on my FB without her having searched for me.

They might have 'checked jn' to the same place.

They might live locally.

They might 'like' similar pages.

I have no one from work on FB. Checking in is not applicable because I don’t use FB on my phone, also if that somehow were the case I would have dozens of other suggestions, which I don’t.

Other people may have different settings - you can set your account so that people can't add you, see your account without you adding them etc

It’s a huge location, I have work d with hundreds of other people there, no one else from there is ever suggested. Also, that was a couple of years ago, and she’s coming up now..

I get people who I've never looked at with no mutual friends on my people you may know so there is more to it than just mutual friends.

The 'people you may know' definitely shows you people who have looked. My ex-husband was dating a new woman and he wasn't friends with her on FB, we have no mutual friends, I hadn't looked her up (didn't know her name) but she came up as a friend suggestion for me...

Is it possible for someone to use Apps to view your fb friends list if its set to only me and other things that are privert my ex is claiming he can see who I add and what i do hes got an app feel like hes watching me all the time its stalking to me

I’ve had people come up on my people you may know after looking at their profile.

Well.. I once looked at a profile of someone, we had no mutual friends or anything but after I'd looked he came up on my people you may know... it didn't his though apparently. Although bare in mind if you have WhatsApp that is connected to Facebook so people in that could show up on people you may know. But no, they can't tell you've looked at their profile unless you accident like something 😩 which I've done before lol
