Are there any popular films it's assumed everyone has seen but you haven't?

I was wondering this when I saw one of the Pirates of the Caribbean films was on tv this afternoon. I've never watched any of them nor have I ever watched the Titanic and have zero interest in doing so.

What are your never seen popular films?

People can't understand how I've managed to get to the grand old age of 49 and not have seen them, it's now become a point of principle to not see them 😊

They were always going to be on the next bank holiday Monday anyway Grin

DH watches loads of action films. I've been in the same room as them, but never actually paid attention to them and muddle their vairious incarnations up as they tend to be prone to sequels of roughly the same plot.

You can be the "wrong age" for films, if you were too young when they came out then they were shown too much on TV and old hat by the time you were getting old enough. I saw Ghostbusters (original) for the first time about a year ago because of the DCs for that reason.
