White

justasking111 · 07/01/2020 16:51

Very happy with my cream.

4forkssake · 07/01/2020 16:57

I know it's not what you asked but gloss is a bugger to keep clean. I've gone from high gloss cream (which looks lovely but with kids sticky fingers not so much) & now have matt.

Cream here too. But we do have high gloss very easy to wipe clean!

Keepmewarm · 07/01/2020 17:15

Cream here too. White felt too clinical.

AllTheUserNamesAreTaken · 07/01/2020 17:17

We have white gloss and it looks great. Don’t find it particularly hard to keep clean either

Bluesheep8 · 07/01/2020 17:17

Cream, had this in our previous house. V pale cream though. Less stark than white.

sippingcoffee · 07/01/2020 17:18

White in high gloss looks fab
I'm not a fan of cream as it often looks a bit dated

Banana770 · 07/01/2020 17:32

We got white, I love it. Didn’t get gloss though as we have two small children and the finger marks would drive me mad!!

MiniMum97 · 07/01/2020 17:33

I've had white gloss and it was lovely and not heard to keep clean at all. Even with my DH who seems to get sticky hands over everything.

Palavah · 07/01/2020 17:33

White. But then I am about to have my cream kitchen repainted in white.

Likethebattle · 07/01/2020 17:45

I hated my high gloss, always seemed streaky no matter what I did. I have Matt now and prefer it, I don’t want to be like everyone else either as it’s a massive trend and I wonder when it will look dated. I’d get white if I were you and determined.

Cream

unbaffled · 07/01/2020 18:18

On balance, cream because white can be a bit clinical (especially if you have a lot of chrome as well) and you don't want your kitchen to look like a vet's surgery! But I wouldn't go for gloss, it will show every fingerprint, grease smear and wipe mark. You will be forever cleaning, so matt might be better.

MrsPerfect12 · 07/01/2020 18:21

I have white high gloss and don't find that it's covered in marks. I find it easy to keep clean. Love it

theSnuffster · 07/01/2020 18:23

We've just had a kitchen fitted and went for cream because I thought white can sometimes look too clinical. Also we decided against gloss because I'd heard about them showing every fingerprint and streaky wipe mark which I know would drive me mad.

katmunchkin · 07/01/2020 18:27

I have a gloss kitchen in Cashmere from Wren and the gloss coating has chipped off the edges of the doors Envy

Foxyloxy1plus1 · 07/01/2020 18:44

A microfibre cloth gets rid of finger marks quickly.

justasking111 · 07/01/2020 19:03

I would get onto Wren, this happened to a friend and they put it right.

DinosApple · 07/01/2020 19:05

Gloss white looks great in our north facing kitchen. Bright, easy to keep clean but not clinical. We've got pale green walls, dark wood (effect) worktops and natural slate coloured floor tiles. It hasn't chipped in 6 years, but there's one not very obvious scratch. Just IKEA so not too expensive.

Spacedust1 · 07/01/2020 19:05

White

theweebleshavelanded · 07/01/2020 19:29

in my last house we put in white gloss 2 1/2 yrs ago. super easy to keep nice and clean/ glossy, also doesn`t date. goes with whatever tiles or painted walls you/ fashion like. white goes with everything!

Fluffycloudland77 · 07/01/2020 19:56

White.

olderandwisernot · 07/01/2020 20:04

We have white gloss - slate tiles and pale wood flooring in a grey - I bloody love it! Easy to keep clean - always looks shiny and reflects light. Ikea too - still looks amazing 2 years on.
