Anyone used Les Mills On Demand?

I love Body Combat but it's getting more difficult to get to classes. Has anyone used LM On Demand? Is it worth the money?

Thanks

I did for two years while I couldn't go to a gym. I loved it and the only reason I stopped is because I moved again, and so could go to a sports centre. If you rely on the social aspect, of course, that won’t be there, but the workout is just as good.

Signed up in November and got using it a whole 3 times befire being hit with constantly ill kids then christmas stuff.

It is very good, looking forward to starting fresh this week.

Yes. I love it. Definitely worth the money and cheaper than gym membership by far.

Sorry, that should have said "thanks all" not "thanks both"!

Yes, and it's fantastic! Well worth the money. We're 4 adults in our house and all use it. We have gym memberships too but Les Mills is used by someone most days.

I use it. I really really like it, it's excellent value for money if you can't get to the gym.

I must say that I do prefer the gym, because just going there and getting beasted in class (CrossFit) is somehow easier than finding the motivation to do something at home. But Les Mills is a particularly good port in that storm.

I've downloaded it with the 10 day trial so will see how I get on!

Good luck with it! :)

Instructors and workouts good. Not anywhere near as good music as actual classes - even worse cover versions and v quiet. I didn’t enjoy it anywhere near as much as group classes.

Flippetydip · 06/01/2020 17:28

@Dozer - yes I thought that - the music is very quiet. I never expected it to be as good as going to a class, but in fairness, I managed a 40 minute reasonable work out in about 55 minutes including getting ready and showering. If I had to go out to the gym it's a good 90 minutes so whilst it's not as good on one side, it is very practical and quite a lot cheaper.

Yes! My gym's timetable changed about six months ago meaning i could only attend one class a week so i left gym, got a cheap step, barbell and some weights and LMOD and haven't looked back! It's so cheap and the choice is great. They also have a very active FB group.

I have a smart TV but no apple tv/fire stick etc. Would I have to use my laptop rather than my tv?

confusedandemployed · 07/01/2020 08:26

@VerySale some TVs let you cast to them without an add on. I think via Google Home. If not, a Chromecast is pretty cheap.
