Can you contact your local councils emergency housing department?

I'm in the north west.
We have several towns with council offices we can go to. They do stuff like sort out council tax bills, tax credit questions, council houses to rent.
They will put you in touch with a homelessness officer

If you can give a rough area of where you are, somebody might have local knowledge for you.

If you give up your tenancy you risk 'making yourself intentionally homeless', so whatever you do don't just leave. Its not just that nowhere will be able to house you, its also that you wont qualify for some benefits, so won't be able to pay rent.

If you are dealing with domestic abuse, ring your local police (not the emergency number) and ask to speak to the domestic Abuse team, if they have one.
Talk to your housing officer on Monday and explain the situation. Ask them how to proceed with getting your own place.
You can also talk to someone at Shelter and Citizens Advice, or google for your local Law Centre and make an appointment.
You need to find out exactly what your legal rights are, and how to keep them. Its to easy to do the 'wrong' thing because you're desperate and lose your rights imo.
