Elvie pump... is it worth it?

As the title suggests really. I EBF in the day and evening but the last feed of the night my little girl gets really fussy and hard to feed so then we give her a bottle of expressed milk or formula if I've not been able to pump in the day.
We have an electric pump but I find it so frustrating sitting on the sofa for even more time and so tend to do a massive pumping session in the morning which seems to drain me and leads to less satisfying feeds the rest of the day.
I wonder if the Elvie would be better for pumping 30 ml here, 30 ml there after each feed and would leave me hands free to get on with jobs. I also want to be able to pump at work (teacher in my frees) as Dd will be ten months when I return and I'd like her to get mainly my milk until a year old.
Pros and cons would be so helpful as it's a lot of money while on mat leave. Smile

I actually had a difficult experience with the Elvie. I found that it leaked quite a lot and was a real faff to clean as it has a fair amount of parts. The battery didn’t last very long either.
However, it was definitely more convenient as I didn’t have to be attached to wires etc.
I ended up selling mine on eBay and I thought it wasn’t worth the hefty price tag. I suppose I was just unlucky with my experience and others might have had more success!
I hope this helps in some way, OP!

@SalemTheTeenageWitch thank you so much for replying, this was sort of the thing I was afraid of. Not sure I'd want to spend the money if it was going to end up a hold it up against me with one hand to stop leaks sort of situation.
I think having to pump is the worst part about breastfeeding!

Friend got one and was a bit disappointed as it didn't seem terribly effective. After about 2 weeks she realised it had got weaker and was now barely working so returned it as faulty

It has great reviews so she was really disappointed it didn't work for her
