Floatation aid for 7 year old at water parks??

We're going to Florida in the Easter holidays and will be going to several water parks but it's just occurred to me that I will need some sort of floatation aid for DD.

She'll be 7 by the time of travel and she does have swimming lessons & is quite a good swimmer but not competent enough to have no floatation aid.

I know she won't want arm bands and those vest things seem to be for smaller sizes so I don't really know what I'm looking for.

Can anyone that's been in a similar situation recommend what worked best for your DC's please. Bonus appreciation for links... thank you so much in advance

Might be worth you contacting the parks. Having been to the water parks, I dont think they are allowed. You can wear the vests. Best to check direct with the parks.

Oh really... I didn't know that Mumof, thank you I'll see if I can find an email address. What happens in that situation though, surely there'll be lots of children that are at the in between swimming stage, or do the slides mainly come into those landing pools?

How competent a swimmer is she? By 7 I would imagine that most children who can swim wouldn’t need aids - as long as an adult is with them at all times I would think she would be fine.

DS is 7 and wouldn’t need them anymore, however they will have ones that will fit her that you can borrow (Disney veteran here).

She will be allowed to wear a floatation vest in the pools / lazy rivers (some parks provide them free of charge like Aquatica).
However I don’t think she will be allowed to wear them on the bigger slides. I may be wrong though.
A lot of the slides however don’t come out into a pool of water, they just level off into a few inches of water iyswim.
Also a lot of rides are tube rides (where you sit in a donut type inflatable ring) which also shouldn’t be an issue.
