So far so good in the dowsers household.
Can’t believe it
Still there’s always tomorrow...when dh has to mak the pigs in blankets and pack all the stuff into the car.
As in ‘ do we really need to take all this stuff’
.’ Yes, it’s Christmas, get over it’

This is the thread for me today. My PIL insisted on talking about politics during our Christmas Eve dinner. Which ended well as you can imagine. I’m insisting on no more politics chat today and shall simply walk out of the room if it starts.

Rowed with my sister over the pudding yesterday. Pretty banal argument, but she still isn't speaking to me today.
I am so sick of her sulking and how she lets small discussions escalate into rows that last four days.

Yes ! ours happened yesterday evening when 18 year old DS, after drinking all day with his work colleagues, broke one of our downstairs windows resulting in £250 emergency window boarding fee at half ten yesterday evening.

Followed by DH stomping he was on final warning to leave and his Christmas presents were going back.

All calm today though, presents reinstated and waiting for dinner to cook.

Yes DS did have to pay the £250.
