It's not a jackpot, just a £100 shopping voucher. WWYD?

Congratulations. If I had given you the ticket, I certainly would not expect you to share with me. Enjoy.

BryanAdamsLeftAnkle · 24/12/2019 15:28

No, it's entirely yours. The giver would be hoping that you would win

MaudebeGonne · 24/12/2019 15:29

No, but I would buy them a nice gift when I was out spending it - between £10-20? I'd be delighted with that if I was the giver.

FishCanFly · 24/12/2019 15:31

i was thinking... a nice bottle of wine from that shopping

I'd buy them something nice, about £10-15 or so, that would be a nice gesture.

fussychica · 24/12/2019 21:16

I would definitely treat them.

kalinkafoxtrot45 · 24/12/2019 21:23

No, but a nice gesture to get them a wee treat. Congratulations on your win!

puds11 · 24/12/2019 21:24

Bottle of wine is a nice idea. I wouldn’t expect anything if it were me.

T0tallyFuckedUpFamily · 24/12/2019 21:28

It depends on who they are and how they would react to the news. If they’re generally a decent sort and wouldn’t dream of expecting half, then a bottle of wine would be lovely. If they are the type to expect more, then don’t let if you’ve won and enjoy the money.

safariboot · 24/12/2019 21:33

You can't easily share it, it's not like cash. I agree, nice to buy them a treat for like £5-10.

ScreamingValalalalahLalalalah · 24/12/2019 21:34

I'd be delighted for you!

HouseworkAvoider10 · 24/12/2019 21:50

No, its yours alone.
You do not need to share that.

Drum2018 · 24/12/2019 21:53

No. It shouldn't be expected that you'd share it. A bottle of wine would be a lovely gesture but not necessary.

WingingIt101 · 24/12/2019 21:55

It’s definitely yours but a treat for your friend would be appreciated I’m sure! Similar happened to my dad - one year his friend ran out of time to get his birthday gift and really apologetically handed him a petrol station card with £20 worth of scratch cards inside... dad won a grand!! Much better than the t shirt this guy usually got him and so he took his friend for a slap up dinner and night at the pub to celebrate for them both!

elmosducks · 24/12/2019 21:58

What everyone else said!

I popped some lottery tickets round for friends tonight as a Christmas treat. I told them if they win, to buy me a 🍺.

Congratulations, treat yourself!
