Does anyone have experience of gall stones or ovarian cancer symptoms

For the last few weeks I've had a constant feeling of fullness. I also had terrible heartburn so I went to the dr who gave me indigestion medication for a month to try. The burning has reduced but the feeling of fullness is still constant.

I'm spending every night awake worrying about this being a symptom of ovarian cancer. The dr mentioned investigating gallstones as a starting point when I go back a month into the tablets.

I'm wondering if anyone can share their experiences with me?

I wouldn’t describe my gallstone (and biliary colic) as fullness. It’s a deeply unpleasant pain under my rib (like a babies foot at about 36+ weeks) like something is stuck, or I’ve got something in there which shouldn’t be. It feels like if i shift around it wold ‘pop’ where it should be but doesn’t. In fact a common symptom of gallstones is a pain which doesn’t move when you reposition yourself.

I also burp more during a flare up, have acidy indigestion, my appetite is generally not what is usually is and I have periods of nausea.

I get the pain typically either after eating a meal (like an hour after) but I also get it if i let myself get overly hungry. For me it’s not actually what I eat on the whole, but if I really really push it (battered onion rings for example!) then all hell will break loose.

I definitely know this is a digestive feeling not a lower stomach/gynae pain, somehow.

Hope you get sorted soon.

I have gallstones.
The pain is immense, I can't even describe it. Worse than labour!
Starts middle under ribcage, spreads round the back and shoulders, sometimes makes me sick.

First time it happened I called an ambulance as I really thought I was having a heart attack.
Having it out soon though... Yay!

Defo go back before 1 month to get your symptoms re investigated!

I'd definitely get it checked out OP.

How old are you? I had fullness and weird periods, had the scans and the test mentioned here (had to pay privately as GP basically laughed at me Angry cost £500) turns out it was early perimenopause. Scary time.
