Should I give cash to school as a Christmas gift?

I’d like to give the school my children attend a Christmas gift, nothing major but was thinking around £25. Do you think they would accept cash or should I give a gift voucher, if so a voucher for where?
Or is it silly to give a gift to the school and not a specific teacher?
Am I overthinking it?!

That’s a lot! I’d just buy a box of biscuits for the staff room to be honest

Do you think? I’d like to give them something useful though as they are struggling due to budget cuts. It’s a lovely school and they go above and beyond to make it a happy place so I’d like to show my thanks.

Is there a particular thing they are fundraising for and you can donate via the PTA? I personally wouldn’t gift money to a school without a direct cause

Glue sticks, they never have enough glue sticks!
Seriously though, ask The Head what she needs and get that. I think taking actual cash can be problematic for them

If your wanting to give to school rather than the teachers make a donation through the pta. That's a lovely thought from you btw
