My old boy is very poorly.
He is loosing blood and it's constantly leaking urine.
I'm trying to keep him comfortable till his vets appointment at 530.
Any got any advice.
I'm just waffling really and expecting the worst.

So sorry to hear this. No advice really, other than to keep him as warm and comfy as possible, which I'm sure you are doing.
Its heart breaking to see them so poorly.
You sound like a very caring owner and I'm sure you will have given him the best life possible.
Sending hugs x

Over the years I've said goodbye to too many furry family members 5 instantly spring to mind.

Some have gone on their own (comically she laid down in the litter tray and went) and some in our company. Some have been extremely horrendous decisions but no doubt the right one.

Our dog was 15. She was my childhood dog. She had begun weeing without realising and was losing her co-ordination and balance. My parents made the sad choice to have her put to sleep. Her ailments were solely due to age and nothing could be done and she would only deteriorate further.

Have time with your boy. If you are able, have a nice basket for him to be comfy in, talk to him. give him treats if he can manage them. cuddles too or you both if you can.

One of our boys - the vet told us to take him home and he died peacefully in his basket with my Mum talking to him.

Thinking of you x

Thinking of you and your cat. Don't know if you know about Mumsnet's Litter Tray. I had a good deal of comfort when Troy was ill.

He's a sleep at the moment.
He's had a lovely life. He's 18 which is about 80 in cat years I think?!
He had destroyed 2 sofas, every carpet and rug we have ever owned and always enjoyed bringing home dead things
