DD has asked for my help because she doesn't know what 2 year olds like. She's 24, so why she thinks I know, I've no idea, but she likes to keep me busy!Grin

What are your 2 year olds getting? I would imagine around £20 budget.

Merci!

Dd is getting play- doh, tons of art stuff, bubble machine, till, trolley, train set, jigsaw puzzles, rag doll, pram, ice cream cart, interactive pet carrier.

Also recommend argos’s 2 for £15

Worried2987 · 14/12/2019 20:22

DD loved Play doh, puzzles, colouring in stuff, a toy till, happy land?

BernadetteRostankowskiWolowitz · 14/12/2019 20:23

If you have an ikea close by their play kitchen pans and soft food is brilliant.

My little girl is a very similar age. She loves craft stuff, baking stuff, toy food to play “shop” with and baby dolls. And she’s absolutely obsessed with stickers!

HoHoHoik · 14/12/2019 20:34

Playdoh, my 2yo is obsessed with it. She has the kitchen set with a little hob and stampers to make food with and the hairdressers set where you can trim their Playdoh hairstyles.

An easel and some paper, crayons, chalks, etc. DD also obsessed with drawing.

Bath toys, Tomy do an Octopus one that has different cups and squirters.

My nephew’s little girl is 3 this week and I’ve bought her a wooden tea set for Christmas, Melissa and Doug brand, from Amazon

BareBelliedSneetch · 14/12/2019 20:40

Duplo. All the duplo.

minesapinkgin · 14/12/2019 20:42

Over the budget but my 2 year old loves her leap frog ice cream cart.

Monstamio · 14/12/2019 20:43

How has nobody mentioned Frozen yet?! 😁

PastaSauceHoarder · 14/12/2019 20:45

I have a two and a half year old daughter and her main/biggest presents from us this year are Happyland, Playmobil 123 and wooden food sets. Smile

Smaller gifts include things like puzzles and books, and I know some extended family are getting her craft/art bits and dressing up outfits (shes princess mad at the minute!)

Teachermaths · 14/12/2019 20:46

Duplo
Wooden train set
Play doh (messy though!)
Torch
Aldi have some great stuff in if you have one nearby

Spam88 · 14/12/2019 20:55

Same age as my daughter :) any kind of imaginative play - doctors set, kitchen stuff, etc. Colouring/painting stuff. Dolls and accessories. Also getting my daughter various dinosaur related toys because she's obsessed.

Muddlingalongalone · 14/12/2019 21:01

Tea set, doctors set. Dressing up (easy stuff like elasticated skirts/scarves/hats)
Wooden building blocks.
Shopping till

MaureenMLove · 14/12/2019 21:04

Lovely, thank you.

I've chosen a baking set, including cutters, apron and chefs hat and I think I might suggest she goes to Ikea for pots and pans.

Perhaps she can do my shopping now! WinkGrin

Wooden toys. John Lewis have some lovely wooden kitchen toy sets starting at £10.
My 2 yr old has a couple and loves them

MummBraTheEverLeaking · 14/12/2019 22:38

We have also bought the Melissa and Doug wooden tea set for DD who's nearly 2. Family have also got her the busy board from the same brand, she loves switches/latches/opening and closing stuff so I can see her playing with that one for ages!
