My 15 yo DD has to do 3 days work experience in February, and I need help in thinking laterally. She's trilingual and at lycée in France.
She's passionate about law after going through the courts here twice and winning her case against her abusive father aged 12. She wants to work in international law eventually, and is looking to study LLB at Kings.
Last year she did an initial 3 days in a French family law practice shadowing a lawyer who is also a uni lecturer. This year we literally cannot get past the starting blocks. No answers at all from any French lawyers we've contacted here.
The UK is not possible as she'd have to be over 16 to do anything in a legal firm. Same for The Hague and the UN as far as I can see.
What could she do that would be relevant and give her a different perspective from family law? She tried the police but she was too late by the time we thought of it - they only take 2 students.
Really any ideas welcome. Thank you.
