Interested bump!

Sorry, my cleaner does the ironing and is paid an hourly rate for all tasks.

Go down to your local dry cleaners, mine offers a wash and iron service, charged per shirt for example. Then undercut the price a bit

Some people charge per item which personally I find a bit off I putting
I’d rather charge per hour . Maybe it’s just me but looks better value for money.
Shirts blouses dresses I would ask them to supply hangers and have them ready on a rail for them to collect
It’s a good little earner if you don’t drive

Have a look at these prices - the ironing only bit.

I'd charge £12 p.h.

The cleaner does the ironing for us too so I’d see it a bit pointless having to drop clothes off or having them collected for ironing.

I play £15 for a basket, it's usually quite a full basket and she will pick up and deliver it back if needed, (although I pass on way to work so usually easier for me to drop off and pick up). I did have a lady who was £10 a basket but she was quite strict in what counted as a full basket so often paid £20. I also know someone who charges per number of items but I remember thinking this would work out more expensive for me. Hope this helps.

An issue is dropping off/picking up.

Similar £ per hour as a cleaner?

We have a monopoly dry cleaner that isn’t great and expensive, so pay our cleaner an extra hour to iron.
