Does anyone have an air fryer?

Ds is moving out. He eats very healthily and I want to buy him an air fryer but have never seen or used one myself. He's cooking for one person, so something small is ideal. He eats a lot of chicken, likes rice, stew, some veg.
Can anyone advise me what to buy and any recipes?

will he have a proper kitchen? or is it shared?
I find the air fryers too big, unless he eats fried food a lot.
an instant pot might be more for him?

I bought a halogen oven recently, which was described as an 'air fryer'. It's smaller than the microwave I bought it to replace (plus my actual oven has thermostat issues), it was around £40, and I love it. So far I've baked soda bread in it, made samosas, baked a cheesecake, a shepherd's pie (after cooking the spuds and mince on the hob) and a chilli. It's easy to use, easy to clean, versatile and cheap to run. I wish I'd bought one years ago. Got mine from Amazon, if that helps at all :)

It's a real kitchen but he's sharing it, so it might be too big. What's an instant pot @stripeypillowcase?

Yes, I have one. It's kept in the cupboard of no return along with the juicer, breadmaker and yoghurt maker.

I love my airfryer!!

Best thing I ever bought and I think it'd be a great thing to buy for him.

You can pretty much google anything "" ... in airfyer""and there will be recipes online.

I hardly use my oven now. I've cooked roasted veg, steaks, fish, cheese on toast, the tastiest crispy chicken, roast potatoes, all sorts of food that can be fried or oven cooked really.

For stews etc, I'd add in a slow cooker (maybe the instant pot would be better?)
