Leaking fluid?

I’m currently 34 weeks pregnant, woke up in the night to a warm drip (sorry to much information). Ignored and slept through to this morning. Again feels like a lot of fluid, sticky. What could this be? Anyone had this?

I'd give your maternity ward/ midwife a call and see if they will check you out this morning. Pop a pad in as they will want to examine what it is, it may be your waters but it might just be discharge (isn't pregnancy glamorous Smile)

Midwife here. It could either be an increase of vaginal discharge, which often happens during the third trimestre (in which case it would be harmless); however, it could also be your waters breaking prematurely, which would need checking by a midwife. Please call your midwife or maternity unit, you need to be assessed. If your waters break early your risk of infection increases the longer you wait.

Thank you, my midwifes don’t open until 9. Is it urgent? Should I call the assessment unit now?

I'd call the assesment unit now!

One hour won't make a difference if it is rupture of membranes.

I recommend you to put on a new pad right now, and keep walking and moving till you call the midwives at 9. If it is rupture of membranes, it will keep leaking and you'll be able to describe/take a photo of the pad and send it to them. They will still most likely want to assess you in person and will likely ask you to take the pad with you.

Hope all is ok.
