I had a day off today. Did a bit of DIY. What have you all been up to?

I put up a curtain rail in front of the kitchen door. Curtain is up. That job has been waiting a month.
Put black out curtains up in dd room mumblemumbleboughtthem14monthsagomumblemumble
Chicken in the slow cooker. Hoovered. Laundry. Dishes done. Recycled. I looked at the rain drenched wreck of the garden, thought nope, not today.
Just waiting now for dd to come home so I can put the kettle on.

How was your day?

Went for a run and swim before work. Work all day. Came home. Wrapped a few presents, watched some tv and had a shag (tmi). Now going to bed as up at 5 tomorrow.

Very little TBH
Was a teensy bit hungover so lay in bed until lunchtime (also has a small interlude with DH as the nosey teen was at school
Made a new recipe for dinner which always pleases me and took DDog1 to the vet. I'm on AL for the next few days and rather expected to be more productive than this

I spend an entire day in a seminar on procurement law payed fo by my employer, so it's work and quite interesting if you like that sort of thing.

At work, so...
Taught long division, analysed a film clip, wrote readings for the carol service and looked at mouldy bread.
Ran a club after school, marked books, came home earlier than usual to see ds2 who's been sofa bound poorly.
Did some marking tonight, watched the OC with dh and ds1 (we're obsessed at the moment - rewatching them all!) and had a lovely long hot bath.
