Can I have your moving house with a toddler tips please?

We're getting a packing service but still panicking a bit!

We moved 6 months ago and moved out of our old place and into our new place the same day. Never again lol. We had a box of essentials with toys for our toddler, plenty of snacks, some books, nappies and spare clothes- that way we didn’t have to worry about unpacking boxes after a long day. We didn’t have anyone who could look after our DS so I looked after him at the old place and got that all cleared out while my DH was at the new place and going with the van backwards and forwards. We made sure we had our travel cot put straight into our new bedroom so he had somewhere to sleep. The day after we moved my DH was back to work so me and my DS spent the day unpacking and sorting his new room. He soon settled in and got the hang of where everything was. Think he mostly enjoyed going from a flat to a house with stairs lol
