What do you do when you listen to audiobooks?

Stupid question but what do you do when you listen to audiobooks. They really appeal to me as I'm crap at reading these days - read two pages before I fall asleep in bed, takes me months to read a single book. Thought an audiobook with an fun narrator might engage me a bit more but what do you do when its on? I imagine myself sitting staring at the wall as anything I'd do would distract me from listening to the story but that sounds bloody tedious. I'm not good at relaxing and doing nothing so fear I might fall at the first hurdle Grin Any tips appreciated!

Lots of replies - thank you! I think I might dip my toes into the world of audio books then. And will take on board the advice not to listen to comedy when out and about. I used to listen to the Adam and Joe podcast and had to get off the bus one day as I was mortified after bursting out laughing. Lesson learned. Forgot about that so this was a timely reminder 😁
