Present for Pregnant Relative?

Her baby is due in May and I imagine that her inlaws, mum etc will deluge her with stuff for the baby. I was wondering about a Xmas present that is more something that she'll find useful in the months leading up to pregnancy.

She is in London and I'd wondered about a Jojo Maman Bebe gift voucher. (Am a bit out of touch with the relevant shops etc, but their website looks alright.) Any other ideas...?

Pregnancy massage
Foot cream
Chocolate
Jewellery

She's not that girly, I'd say. So I think might appreciate something practical/useful/helpful at a time of change. I think she's just bought some kind of big pillow - a maternity body pillow.

A beauty treatment (pregnancy friendly) voucher
A voucher for her hairdressers
A gift set for pregnant women (there’s lots available online-it depends how much you want to spend but ‘my expert midwife ‘ is good for little treats.

Failing those, an afternoon tea at a local hotel or lunch at her favourite restaurant would be nice

Ah I see! Well the voucher for jo jo sounds great but that's quite a high end kind of place so just have that in mind when deciding the amount. Smile

£50, I thought - though maybe a bit more.

Not sure if there are other shops/sites like JoJo - I'm a bit out of touch.

My relative will probably be working until at least 7 months, so I'd thought somewhere where she might be able to buy smart but comfortable stuff for work. (I can remember grudging money spent on maternity stuff, as it's only for such a short time - and had relatively few things for the later months.)

JoJo is great, and I've bought a lot of maternity workwear there. I would also recommend a large fluffy dressing gown (my bump doesn't fit in my old one) and a foot massager. I'm not at all girly, but honestly my swollen feet are killing me!!

Thanks!

Am now wondering if I've made a faux paste with a best friends xmas gift! She's due around the same time but it hadn't even occured to me to get a pregnancy related gift for xmas- I am just getting her something nice as per that is for her (obviously nothing that can"t be used while pregnant). Being pregnant doesn't change that she is still her and tbh i want to treat her - she'll get the standard baby stuff regardless and we'll all treat the baby when it arrives anyway.

I think it's partly that when people have a reasonably comfortable lifestyle they tend to have a lot of the things they want/need/like already - I do have a tendency to want to give 'useful' presents.

Jojo clothes are lovely, a voucher there would be well received by me! Also I was given a voucher for a massage which was a godsend. Also like the afternoon tea voucher - sometimes forgetting I was pregnant for a bit was welcome 😂

I'm due on January and I'd much prefer 'normal' Christmas presents to pregnancy related ones. There are only so many pregnancy-friendly bath oils a girl can take, and vouchers for JoJo ect really are a present for baby.

I'm after the sort of stuff I'd usually get - books, foody bits, or the purse I'm currently hinting to DH about.

Lol this is rather strange...what would you get a non pregnant relative?
