I know this has probably been done to death. 2 children under 5.

We had a 'late' breakfast (7.30 ) bit of tv, outside for a couple if hours. Lunch. Colouring. Playing. Saying "mummeeeeee?" A gazillion times.

I really don't want to bake.......

I'm currently drinking coffee in the kitchen while they play with trains in the front room. I'll join them in a minute.

It was many years ago now but I invested in a couple of these and they played with them endlessly.

Have you ever googled what Blippi got up to before he did kids videos 😳

KitKat1985 · 23/11/2019 19:11

Probably a bit too much TV / tablet time if I'm honest.
But we have taken them out too to some garden centres to see Christmas trees and lights (weather has been too dire to do much else out of the house with them).
In more wholesome activities at home they have done some puzzles and colouring too.

I certainly have!

Made Christmas Decorations...so basically just threw glitter and glue all over the house.

Set up a "bridge" with furniture &played out the Billy Goats Gruff story way way way too many times for my liking.

Watched TV- also blippi, who I've just googled thanks to pp..🤮

Did housework with their "help".

Felipa · 23/11/2019 23:39

Yes we discovered Blippi's previous character 😱

unlimiteddilutingjuice · 24/11/2019 08:37

I showed the Blippi Wikipedia page to DH and he said "I always knew something was off with that guy" Grin

Sparrowlegs248 · 24/11/2019 10:10

@Mylittlepony374 yes, my post should have said "glittered the entire house" but autocorrect got me.

Also watching Blippi Grin personal favourite is the newer "working with tools" song

Cutting and sticking an Argos catalogue, outdoor painting (frog suit, wellies, cardboard and a plate of paint) "washing the car" (cosy coupe), stickers, Play-Doh.

DD (6) has been playing with her dolls house, putting on puppet shows and generally being no trouble at all.

DS(3) has a cold and hence hasn’t slept and is grumpy. MIL is staying for the weekend and she has played a LOT of trains, happyland, marbles and other games with him. MIL is amazing and actually enjoys all the repetitive shit the DC love. I think they’ve brainwashed her.
