Broken toe and 9 month old

A couple of weeks ago I broke my big toe resulting in surgery and a big moonboot for 6 weeks. We live on a hill in both directions and I dont drive which is making getting out and about tricky. Added on to this my baby getting conjunctivitis then a terrible cold alongside teething has resulted in weeks indoors. I honestly feel so at the end of my tether.

I haven't been going to any of my usual groups and my family is too far away to vsit easily, alongside reducing my breastfeeding this has all hit me hard.
I feel like I'm getting the blues now which seems crazy at 9 months, my gorgeous wee baba is a delight but I am just really struggling and we exhausted all Indoor activities. I have a really supportive partner but he cant take any time off to help.
Okay now my moan is out, 😬 I just wanted to see it anyone has any ray of sunshine quotes, pieces of advice, hints and tips to sort out my head space while I recover?Confused

Poor you, this sounds so rough.

I'm wondering if it's worth looking up what disabled people with long term mobility issues do with their babies to keep them occupied. Not exactly the same thing but might give you some ideas on how to cope.

I understand it can send you potty being stuck indoors all the time. The baby won't remember these few weeks so it's about keeping you both healthy and sane. Make sure there's enough fresh air in the house. I think even standing at your front door for 5 minutes just to get some daylight on your face will help. It will all be over soon!

Do you have any pals from groups that could come over for a cuppa? Also, get on the facetime or Skype with people! Cabin fever is truly awful. Also, you could get a taxi to the supermarket for lunch or similar. Just to get out occasionally, not as a regular thing!

That is such a good point, at least I know its temporary and it must be so hard for mums who arent as fortunate! :)
Fresh air is a good shout, even just to stand out the back can make you feel better so will be getting on that asap! :) thank you

Have you done any of the Baby Club sessions on iPlayer? Not quite the same as a real class but good when you've run out of ideas!

Oh no I haven't, I've avoided tv so far but might give that a go!! Thank you

Will anyone from the groups pick you up and drop you back. A long time since I was in baby groups but lived rurally and we all rallied round to do for people
