ASOS vouchers for nursery staff?

I'm really struggling as to what to get the nursery staff. They are so good with DC and I want to show my appreciation without buying tat or wine and chocolate.

Would an ASOS voucher be a rubbish idea? They are all between 8 - 24 I would say. If this is rubbish, any other ideas please?

I think it's a brilliant idea, I'm going to get my daughter's 22 year old teacher an ASOS voucher at the end of term as she's been bloody brilliant.

All those people that have never shopped at ASOS - omg what?! Why??? It is a treasure trove of delights and cheap shit in equal measure.

I’d have much preferred that to a Costa voucher. Costa is by far the saddest of all the coffee chains and I’d actively avoid it tbh

Love2shop is a good idea as usable in so many places

I wouldnt get anything from ASOS so ot would be a waste of money.

How about Amazon? Theres pretty much everything on there

I buy one for all vouchers they have loads of places on them. They are accepted at loads of places.

Amazon
M and s
John lewis

All Arcadia groups stores etc
Etc

Ooh Primark too.

They are sold at the post office.

Ok maybe "girly" was the wrong choice of word, but I still think that a higher percentage of people would get use from a coffee shop voucher than a clothes shop voucher. Clothes shopping is quite a personal choice. But then saying that......it's Christmas and I'm sure they would be massively grateful for whatever you got them OP. It's a lovely thought

StickyToffeeTart · 21/11/2019 18:32

ASOS is great, they also have bath and beauty stuff, homewares and tech, I think most people would be able to find something good on ASOS to be honest

thatguiltyfeeling · 21/11/2019 19:30

Lovely idea but could you get a gift card that covers multiple shops? It's just at my nursery there's some staff who would want to use the money for their child, others on clothes, and others at one of the coffee shops in town.
It's a lovely thought and nobody is going to hate receiving an ASOS voucher though!

I think it’s a good idea. Worse case scenario they can you it on basics like tights or plain tops. I always do Starbucks vouchers and they seem to go down well- there’s one next to daycare and I see the teachers with the cups occasionally so they definitely drink it.

UnitedRoad · 21/11/2019 20:14

My daughters are 18 and 21, and have completely different taste in clothes, but both buy from ASOS a lot, so I think you’re spot on. Just asked my 21 year old if she’d prefer that or a coffee voucher, and she said definitely ASOS as they could buy something specific, rather than a consumable that they’d buy anyway.

footballmum · 22/11/2019 06:26

Just be careful OP. I’m sure I’ve read somewhere that ASOS is one of the retailers that is in financial trouble and at risk of bankruptcy.

patchworkelephant123 · 22/11/2019 08:05

Thanks for all the reply's - I went with ASOS as there's so many high street shops on it I thought it would cover the majority - although didn't realise they were at risk. This is the trouble with vouchers in our current climate!
