What's a good cookery book for a teenager?

Teen DC wants to start cooking things. They are capable, but not a wildly adventurous eater. I'd imagine a book of plain classic dishes with good photos would be the best option.

Any ideas please?

I should imagine most teens use Youtube tutorials don't they?

17 y/o DD was given The Green Roasting Tin by Rukmini Iyer (sp?) last birthday which she loves & uses loads. She's also now bought the original Roasting Tin book by the same author (which includes meat, first one is just veggie/vegan recipes) though she hasn't used that one as much. The author is an Instagrammer, but the recipes in both are really easy & tasty, I've also cooked several - the USP is that they're all one tin dishes & quick/easy to prepare (though some do also need rice or other carb to go with them).

THIS is good... Spiral backed too so pages don't close!

My dc only ever use on-line for recipes despite me having given them cookbooks

Real fast food by Nigel Slater? It’s simple and nice, without being patronising

Real food by Nigel Slater, pretty simple but amazingly tasty dishes. I was given it when I was 20 ish and I still use it now I'm 40!
