I have been up for an hour and a half with my toddler, who has a chest infection. Poor bugger. I am supposed to be working form home today while he is at nursery and DD at school. Oh dear.

Anyone else around?

Morning
I'm awake again, I've had some sleep so not too bad. But now I'm awake and probably won't get back, a combination of stress and bad dreams

Morning, I'll put the coffee on.

I'm often awake at this time, I sometimes surprise the milk man, he delivers about now and I don't think he expects to see any customers.

Woke up panicking that I have a uni exam tomorrow. It was a dream, I graduated 14 years ago!

I couldn't get back to sleep as my room is cold so put my dressing gown on. The heating is noisy and will wake everyone up. Starting to feel drowsy again now.

I'm awake, feeling anxious about going home today. I left my husband last wednesday but going home today, I'm not ready but have no choice as cant afford to stay in a hotel any longer (have nowhere else to go).

Hope everyones poorly children get well soon

Wide awake too! no babies/not pregnant & have read a whole lot of mumsnet chat, working my way through classics. As well as re designed my home via internet, put squillions of gifts in numerous baskets, I've eaten an egg sandwich, wanted a coffee ( thought it might keep me awake !! ) sat on the sofa with jamas, socks, dressing gown & blanket. Hubby up in around 1/2 hour. I've got a devilish urge to sing " baby it's cold outside" at the top of my lungs ( ELF ) Grin

I'm not going to, lack of sleep is clearly making me delirious! it's pouring with rain outside, youngest will wake at 6:45 & I have a meeting at 09:00.

@FrenchyQ, sorry just seen this, this is sad to read. Have you no other possible alternative than to return? I can only hope that if you do, you do it knowing it will be temporary and put into action and gain extra time to make your next move out permanent. Flowers

Holy crap it's 5am. I've made it through the witching hours. Been awake since 3. Will now RTFT

FluffOffFFS · 20/11/2019 05:02

14mo refused lunch at nursery and has consequently had me awake for the past two hours... Has had a bottle, 1.5 bananas and Calpol and I've run out of ideas now. Might try to stealth ninja out of his room.. .

HearMeRoarr · 20/11/2019 05:09

Urgh I hate this time I always wonder if I ts worth trying for an extra hour or just getting up

Frownette · 20/11/2019 05:29

Just woken up and got a drink. I won't go back to sleep now.

@FrenchyQ that sounds awful; hope you can detach and feel strong today
