Is this pan good for cooking high quality curries in?

I'd rather stay away from aluminium (if I can find a suitable alternative) and non-stick pans often contain nasty chemicals (I know some are POFA free etc but still) so this pan looks ideal in that it doesn't have either of those issues - is stainless steel and can be made non-stick naturally by seasoning with oil.

Additionally, it seems to be a good size and comes with a lid.

Do you think it'll be good for mainly cooking curries, toasting spices, etc in?

Thanks

It looks a nice pan. I would get a karahi like this. But I am not an expert (married to an Indian but in now way a great Indian cook).

Fine. My MIL (originally from Pakistan) uses pans similar to this but usually deeper. I think that's usually because she makes big volumes and any decent curry will always make excellent leftovers for the freezer.
