Gift for Mum with Alzheimer's

My beautiful Mum has advanced Alzheimer's disease. She's in a nursing home. Her birthday is in December obviously as well as Christmas.
Over the years I've bought her soft things (clothes, blankets, soft toys), lots of photographs, made her a memory book, oils and creams for hand massages/good sleep etc.
Im struggling with what to get her this year- any ideas? I'm in my twenties and my sisters a bit older, we could all chip in for something more expensive if it was.. so not too much of a budget.
Thank you

Oh I've already mentioned the doll- sorry- I also saw a suggestion about a weighted blanket which is a lovely idea, I will have a look. I also bought a canvas of a pic of my nieces and have got her a canvas of our family because she does sometimes look up at the canvas.
Oh it's heartbreaking!!!!!

Having been in your situation I'm so sorry for what you are going through, it's a horrible and heart wrenching disease. A card and your time and presence would be all I would suggest.

Definitely something to cuddle. My old nana stayed in advanced stages for 9 years and a teddy bear was sometimes the only thing to comfort her.

As boring as it is nighties, undies, comfy socks etc are also needed - the softer the better.

When my dad was at that stage 8 bought him something small like chocolates to help him unwrap even though he didn't understand it was Christmas. Then i spent the rest of the money i wanted to spend on presents for the home like simple jigsaws or craft stuff. Activities coordinator alwsys had ideas.
