Which house would you prefer to buy?

Assuming they are the same price:
House A: 5 miles away from the city (where you work), in a quiet town, 1 bedroom and reasonably good bus links to the city.

House B: 15 miles away from the city, in a quiet village,3 bedrooms, poor bus links to the city.

Assume all other factors are the same.

I do drive but I guess it’s still nice to have good bus links in case I am no longer able to drive, ill etc.?

I know it’s different to different people but which would you choose? & which do you think will increase in price better over time?

A. You’re in your 20s. Go for the options that enables the best social life. Assuming you don’t have or want kids in the near future.
Why would you want to be 15 miles from work with crap transport links?

A in your 20’s. If you meet someone the double income jeans you can afford bigger anyway - renting out a well located one bed is easy compared to an average house in the sticks too, should that be an option.
