How to stop toddler getting naked every night?

So toddler gets put to bed fully clothed then quietly in the morning before announcing they are awake to the rest of the house removes all clothes and nappy Shock with obvious messy results, other than trying to wake up before him any other ideas? I searched for rear fastening sleepsuits but haven’t found any yet.

Maybe make the house colder and hope for the best?

Cut the feet off one and put it on backwards?

We used to put a vest over the top of pyjama bottoms and do up the poppers which used to be enough of a battle to put him off-he gave up soon enough. Painful phase though so Flowers

La reroute do back fastening sleepsuits up to age 3 I think.

When my nephew went through a phase of taking nappy off, we lent a couple of nappy wraps which were put on backwards over the top of his nappy which was enough to stop him taking it off.

Great ideas, thanks everyone, we will start with cutting the feet off some sleepsuits and putting them on backwards, hopefully a few nights of that will break the habit

You could try those swim nappy type things over a normal nappy

Nothing worked with DS apart from in Sainsbury's they had knitted pyjamas that had buttons instead of poppers on the legs and down the back. He couldn't figure those ones out at all despite getting past everything else!

Use a grobag style zip up sleeping bag and use a nappy pin through the zip tab so that it can't be unzipped.

NuffingChora · 10/11/2019 19:47

Slumbersac or similar put on backwards, so zip at rear.

Expressedways · 10/11/2019 19:49

Get one of those toddler sleep sacks (designed for walkers as the bottom is open for feet) and put it on backwards?

Dear Heavens! I thought you meant the child!

I had this issue. Tried everything but I produced a Houdini that hot out of everything! What finally stopped it was sewing the vests up where the poppers are and putting it on via the neck opening.

Good luck
