DD has to write something on French about hobbies.

What is the difference between c'est and ce sant?

E.g ...parce que ce sont difficile
Or ...parce que c'est difficile

Thanks. Or Merci Grin

Ce sont is plural- these are. C’est - singular- it is

MotherOfSoupDragons · 10/11/2019 15:29

1st eg is grammatically impossible and meaningless. Ce is singular, sont is plural

LeekMunchingSheepShagger · 10/11/2019 15:30

Ce sont doesn't exist.

This is quite a good explanation- forum.duolingo.com/comment/4021012/C-est-vs-Il-est-singular-Ce-sont-vs-Ils-sont-plural

Got it. Thanks!
How do you say...

Because it's boring and I do enough work in school.

She's having to write creatively about opinions on various things but I'd rather she write simply with phrases she's been taught instead of using google translate and writing more complex phrases that hasn't been taught.

Hope that makes sense.

Parce que c'est nul et je travaille assez au collège.

@WelshMoth as an MFL teacher please let me tell you, you are absolutely correct that your DD should write simply using (and perhaps manipulating) phrases that she has learnt in class rather than using Google Translate!! Bane of my bloody life!
