Gift ideas for 14 yo girl

DS has been invited to one of his female friends 14th birthday party. I've no idea what 14yo girls are into at the moment & I really don't know the girl very well. She doesn't strike me as a very girly girly although I don't see her outside school, so I don't think makeup or that sort of thing would be an option. Asked DS to ask what she likes but he hasn't yet Hmm So just wondered if anyone had any recommendations. Don't even know which shop I could go to for a voucher. The only gift idea I can think of is bath bombs but that's what DS bought one of the other girls for her 13th (along with something else but I can't remember what) so wanted something different. Help please!

What about a lone to shop voucher? She can use it in a lot of shops

My dd is 14 and dislikes make-up. She does like the following:

Scrunchies
Stationery
Phone cases (if you know phone model)
Hand cream
Perfume/body mists etc
Bath and shower stuff
Fancy water bottles
Chocolate

In terms of vouchers, she'd like any of the following: top shop, new look, Amazon, urban outfitters, jd sport, cinema vouchers.

I was going to suggest a gift set from Lush, as I think they are usually popular. Maybe a none bath bomb gift set - some of the soaps they do are lovely.
A mug with hot chocolate sachets.
My DD used to like stuff from Paperchase, but not necessarily everyone's taste.
DVD of a newly available film.

Another vote for the Love To Shop voucher or the One4All gift card (you can get them at the Post Office), valid in lots of shops, or if she reads a lot, book tokens? It's tricky without knowing what kind of girl she is; some people have to be quite careful with Lush products, for instance, though others would love them. Or some really nice high end chocolate, like Booja Booja (Lakeland and various other places do them) or Prestat or Tony Chocolonely? (Have just discovered these and am doing my best to convert everyone I encounter. Wink) Or in a previous job we got a colleague a gourmet chocolate pizza from the company of that name which went down well as a) she was quirky and it was quirky and b) the chocolate was really nice.

There are some quite nice ideas at www.prezzybox.com/gifts-for-teenage-girls.aspx, and a reasonable range of prices too, not all girly girl gifts by any means.

Make your DS find out what she likes and buy the present himself. He should be responsible for his own social life by this age.

Kate Spade/Fenella Smith/Sara Miller pencil case
Paperchase notebook and pen
Hot chocolate spoons gift set www.next.co.uk/g99226s6#169797
Alphabet mug, hot chocolate powder and marshmallows

Some great ideas thanks. She loves cats so I've found a really cute & different cat mug & some hot chocolate bombs which DS has looked at & likes & I'll get her a voucher for somewhere suggested. He's going to check with his other female friends to see if she likes hot chocolate first.

As for the useful tip about my 13 year getting it. All very well if he had time (& just in case you're interested he does go out & get gifts for family for birthdays & Christmas - with his OWN money 😱) but when he doesn't finish school until 4.30 & has after school commitment most evenings & no shops near by, it makes it difficult to send him on his merry way to find something suitable. And it kind of ruins the surprise somewhat if you've asked someone outright what they want for their birthday.
