Hey
I'm 8 weeks pregnant and struggling to cope with awful all day sickness and a toddler who just wants to be running, jumping, shouting all the time EnvyShock she has stopped napping so I can't even get a rest during the day.

Does anyone have any survival tips for coping with this hell?!

You are describing the hell I have very recently emerged from... will your toddler lie down in bed with you and watch tv? Eat snacks? Anything so you can test and perhaps doze off. I used to lie on the living room floor with cushions and play sea monster games and wish the weeks away, I feel for you.

Also, for this short period just cut yourself some slack wherever possible and don’t feel guilty about junk food / too much tv - just get through it... go to bed as soon as possible as I found tiredness made the sickness so much worse.

How about putting an age appropriate film on after lunch so you can take a little break? It is the only thing that calms down my very excitable DS. I know screen time is not always ideal but some times needs must. Go easy on yourself

Play dates so they can entertained a bit not by you? Soft play?

I am 30 weeks pregnant. I sit on the sofa with my arm around my toddlers waist and snuggle with her watching Peppa Pig or some other cartoon. I can usually have a ten minute doze as she is fixated with it. If she moves I wake up immediately but the power naps really help.
