Thankyou gift for a couple

Looking for gift inspiration.

One of my closest friends and her fiance have been very, very good to me over the last couple of months - helping me with a house move, letting me stay with them alot etc.

I'd like to get them a thank you gift - budget of around £100-150.

For some season I been thinking of a F&M hamper but not sure it's very appropriate for a 30 year old couple. Are there any other hamper-style gifts that I might be missing?

We're in London so meal or experience vouchers could be doable?

Any ideas greatly appreciated

I think hampers are always appreciated. John Lewis has nice ones too. What about something like a gin hamper if they like gin?

Hotel Chocolat do some nice hampers www.hotelchocolat.com/uk/the-adventures-in-chocolate-hamper.html#srule=price-high&sz=24&start=7

Neither are big chocolate fans but they do like gin.

Will have a look at JL too. The F&M ones do look lovely (and I know my friend would love having the basket to put on display Grin ) but I am agog at some of the prices in comparison to the content!

Would they be better suited to an experience day or something similar?

If you are planning on spending that much then please ask what they would like ....my partner and I would love meal vouchers but he wouldn't enjoy anything in a hamper. (I would!). Although things that we would enjoy if you want to go ahead with a gift.....vodka and caviar, sushi, a nice meat hamper (as long as they have freezer space), vouchers for a night in a hotel, theatre vouchers, garden centre vouchers. Do they have a shared hobby that you could get tickets for something to do with it? Or tickets to a concert?

If they are into food, then:
London prices might make it too expensive for your £150 budget, but Oxford-based friends were given a one-off private chef experience as their 10th anniversary gift from the ILs!

Professional chef came to cook them dinner at home (advance menu consultation/all ingredients bought/served the meal/cleared up after etc.)

Quite a few companies do packages, though their chef was a local freelancer and cheaper. £130ish, think friend said?

They loved it. Said was very romantic!
Something they'd never have chosen themselves as so indulgent.
