Some one commented that I look like I’m expecting triplets the other day.

This has made my eating even worse.
Someone last week told me that when they have lost their weight, I can have their clothes.
This made my eating even worse.
I’m 11 stone 8 and I’m 5ft 1.
I have done weight watchers, slimming world numerous times over many many years.
I went vegan for 18 months, I was 95% vegetarian before, having chicken only occasionally.
Following a plant based diet only afforded me weight control. I remained at the same weight for all that time.
It was fine. (Apart from the numerous negative comments from numerous people).

I’ve slipped back.

I will die of hypertension and diabetes and all that is associated with those conditions.

Just watching “who are you calling fat”.
It’s a revaluation.
I don’t know where else to go now. I’m out of options.
Any ideas or suggestions?

Poor you - you seem to have encountered more than your fair share of arseholes over the last couple of weeks.

Seems too obvious a suggestion, but have you tried CBT to address the link between emotions and eating? Flowers

So sorry people have said unkind things to you OP Flowers --but they are dicks and it doesn't mean you should take it to heart or that it's fact. I would work on trying to stop absorbing the comments and start avoiding 'friends' that spoke to me so hurtfully. Start asserting yourself and telling them you think their comment is very rude, was hurtful and reflects poorly on them. Otherwise it seems like you are using others negative comments to punish yourself with, as though you deserve them and they are juatified- when you don't, and they aren't.

Have you seen your GP about your disordered eating? You can also self refer for counselling or CBT which might be worth trying, especially if your eating is affected by your mood or self esteem.

Do you actually have a diagnosis of the conditions that you mention, or the warning signs of? You can always ask your GP for a health check of BP, blood sugars etc to have an accurate impression of how your body is doing.

The only other thing you've not mentioned in your OP is exercise. Diet alone is unlikely to result in a maintained weight loss. If you are able to start incorporating exercise then perhaps that could be a good way to start to manage the weight whilst improving your fitness at the same time. Something friendly like parkrun or couch to 5k if you prefer to do things alone?

Hi Op, are you happy the way you look? People always have something to say and many love negativity. You do what makes you happy.

Looked in the mirror about half an hour ago and thought the same about myself. My GP has a scheme which offers free membership of WW. Do see k some help, it's too easy to become discouraged without support. Good luck, things can and will improve.
