What does your two year old watch?

Over here it's Teletubbies (rare now tbf), Peppa Pig, Paw Patrol, Horrid Henry, Trotro, Simon, Little Princess, Boss Baby and Max and Ruby. Not all in one day, she watches a bit in the morning so I can sort everything out and a bit in the evening whilst I try to settle DC2. What does your one watch? We've managed to avoid Bing so far which I was pleased about and she didn't like In The Night Garden (I never understood that one?!).

Ra ra the noisy lion
Alphablocks
Masha and the bear
Maya and the bee

Anything on CBeebies. All of it. Every single thing. He would watch all day given half the chance.

Little baby bum, in the night garden, bing. He loves watching planes on YouTube too, so we have that on quite often! I have to say he's learnt an awful lot from LBB too.

@Witchend My DS is the same! Red arrow & spitfire obsessed!

SarahAndQuack · 27/10/2019 22:47

DD is 2.5.

Age two her favourites were Hey Duggee, Sarah and Duck and Call the Midwife (my fault, and she adored it to the extent nursery asked if we were expecting).

A few months past two she got really into Peppa, which drove me fucking nuts, but still loved Sarah and Duck. The animated series of Ronia the Robber's Daughter went down really well, too.

Currently it is fucking Ben and Holly. Sorry.

Along with everything already mentioned around that age Dd loved Huckle (Busy town) I think it was on Netflix. It is available on YouTube too as is sesame Street which we used to watch on the ipad.

DS is 22 months and his favourite is Peppa Pig. He points at the tv and snorts like a pig when he wants to watch it. He also likes In the Night Garden. Other than that he gets cbeebies or whatever DD is watching. He normally watches 30mins-1hr in the morning and around 20mins in the evening.

@SospanFrangipan
Yes, he was Red Arrows obsessed first then added Spitfires and Concorde.

The History Channel has some good WWII documentaries which are perfect for interested 5yo boys. They're full of breathy comments of "and the huge 50lb shell hurtles towards the armour coated deck..." (repeat three times). He particularly found the Bismark one fascinating.

He's now just WWII obsessed with a particular interest in planes. In year 6, when the form was doing WWII his teacher told us that every time she tried telling them something, the form would look at ds and ask if she was correct, after he'd corrected her (rightly) a few times. Luckily she thought this was funny.

He's currently working on a Lancaster airfix. This sounds great until you get a shout of "Mum, I've dropped D34" and you go through to find D34 is the handle for the door, and only minutely bigger than a full stop. Grin

All three love cbeebies from rara the lion to bing and the 16mo loves tee and mo. Also zafari. 5.45 is the start of the bedtime hour which calms them only slightly. It's a bit much when I am singing cbeebies songs in the supermarket.
