Boring/weird help me identify this music piece thread

This is driving me nuts that I can't identify this piece, normally with music the lyrics help and I can google at least a few words and identify that way.

But with instrumental/classical pieces it's harder.

The piece I'm trying to ID has a clear xylophone lead at least in the beginning, it's upbeat, joyful and I feel sure was used in a well known ad and possibly a movie soundtrack too.

Heard it in one of the good wife episodes I'm rewatching but credits and IMDb not helping.

Hoping the mn experts can help me ID this.

Merry Christmas, Mr Lawrence’s?

Graphista · 26/10/2019 00:22

Thanks for replying but that isn't it, that's a much more sombre piece, it's a faster, more upbeat piece that the first "verse" is predominantly xylophone

School Music by Carl Orff. Used a lot in film and telly. Can't remember the German wording.

True romance!

I knew it was something where the light upbeat feel of the music juxtaposed with the darkness of the storyline.

Anyone have that where you have a "feeling" as a memory and can't quite pin it down properly? Seems to happen to me more and more as I get older Sad
