Doesn’t look like I’ve had an email.
Just got back from holiday this morning and had the news on...that’s how I’ve found out.
Thank god I didn’t find out yesterday
Rang my son and asked him to call round and switch on my heating...as we didn’t arrive till 3am
He rang just as we were boarding ...couldn’t get the heating to come on
Thankfully was only the controls needed new batteries

House for 15 degrees.
If I’d known this news I’d of been 😱

I found them smashing.
Such a shame.

If an energy company ceases trading nothing will happen to your energy supply. The energy supply is constant; when you switch suppliers all that happens is you change who you pay for it. Dunno what toto have put in place but your supply won't be affected, you'll just have to choose a different supplier to pay.

We are probably in credit after the summer
( they actually took payment from us Oct 8 😡)
Will we lose it

No you don’t lose the money, it gets carried over or will come back to you

That happened to me. It wasn’t a big deal at all. I didn’t do anything, the government did it all. A new company took over seamlessly. No issues at all. Don’t cancel your direct debit. It will all sort itself out. I don’t have a smart meter but that’s the only issue I can think of, it may not work with your new provider. However that’s not the end of the world.

Thanks..so pleased you just don’t get cut off
Shame about the company
We only paid £60 a month for gas and electric

The mob that took over my gas and electric kept the exact same unit prices. The contract was the same per month and everything. Yours could be too, check the unit prices when they tell you who is taking over. Do a meter reading too and make sure you arent in debt. Sometimes these monthly figures arent based on actual meter readings.
