Holiday recommendations

Looking to book a holiday for August 2021.

I would to spend no more than £800 per person ideally for myself, dh and dd who would be 14 by then.

Ideally it would be somewhere without the euro. With a beach and pool but with plenty of interesting places to visit.

Does such a holiday exist? Any recommendations?

I recommend you do not come to where I am currently for the next 24 hours. Azurline amantis all inclusive in Ibiza. Drunken chavs headbutting each other , kicking over tables and numerous tenditions of Ogie Ogie Ogie for hours on end. Ghetto blasters blaring in the corridors and drunks banging on hotel doors.

Good lord babyroobs
Was going to say Tenerife..but you don’t want the euro
Euro or not...I’m here right now and it’s bloody lovely..temps anywhere from 25-32
Food still very reasonable in the restaurants
Making the most of it

Turkey at a decent all inclusive. Julian Club or Grand Cettia is good though they’re cheap so there are a lot of chavs

Turkey, Egypt, Cape Verde.

Not that I would recommend the first two and I haven’t been to CV, so don’t know what it’s like.

Turkey, but try the smaller places like Kalkan. I wouldn't book all inclusive though as you miss the culinary experience

I would wait until after the 31st for starters, and don't book turkey at the moment. Put money monthly into an account and book nearer the time, too much unknown at the moment

This place would be within budget and tick all of your boxes www.canvasholidays.co.uk/croatia/istria/campsite-lanterna.php

Iceland...!!

We went there a fortnight ago. Much cheaper than we ever imagined it to be. Granted it can be cold, but this time of year some decent heels and a reasonably warm coat is all you need. The views are breathtaking and while the food choices can bring water to your eyes, there is a good smattering of UK food freely available. Young's Cod Fillets 440g are a snip at two for £6 and if you have really small ones 6 Olaf Lollies are exclusive to Iceland at the moment.
